Marks and Spencer has opened its Christmas dinner gathering points so shoppers can sort their Christmas dinner ahead of time.

The retailer gives shoppers the ability to order their turkey, vegetarian and vegan centerpieces, side dishes, desserts and more now on its website.

M&S shoppers offer “everything you need for your perfect celebratory meal” and only pay a deposit to secure their order, which can then be picked up at the store between December 22nd and 24th.

Despite concerns about turkey shortages, M&S offers customers a dozen turkey options, from the British Oakham turkey crown on the bone from £ 21.60 to large free range Pembrokeshire bronze turkeys that can feed up to 18 people for £ 117.

Other meats include a Collection British beef tenderloin for £ 45, which serves four, and a slow-cooked whole leg of lamb for £ 55.

Vegetarian and vegan guests are also well catered for – there is a vegan Beef Wellington for £ 15 and a butternut, almond and pecan roast for £ 8.

A classic vegetable selection for six costs £ 25, while a set selection with 16 pork cocktail sausages wrapped in bacon and 16 fillets with pork, sage and onions costs £ 10.

    This year’s desserts look decadent – there’s a Golden Blonde Chocolate Star Christmas Pudding from the Collection for eight for £ 12, a gluten-free Yule Log for eight for £ 7, and a vegan melt in the middle chocolate pudding for six for £ 10.
