Even former standout Bears linebacker Lance Briggs is fed up with all the Chicago Cubs business news.
Chicago Cubs fans across the country are still stunned after the organization decides to pull off a stunner and trade Yu Darvish for the San Diego Padres. Superstar Righty just leaves Wrigley Field for a ride in the southern California sun.
While that deal troubled the Cubs fan base, it has since been reported that the team is considering taking additional steps, including sending catcher Willson Contreras out of town. Seriously?
This has caused a lot of negative feedback from Chicago Supporters, including former Bears superstar linebacker Lance Briggs. Even Briggs had to go to Twitter to tell the Cubs front office that he doesn’t like what he sees of his favorite club.

The Cubs were able to trade Willson Contreras after they also sent Yu Darvish to San Diego
As you can see, Briggs isn’t happy with what’s going on at Wrigley. In addition to the messages from Darvish and Contreras, the team reportedly also wants to swap Kris Bryant, the stud’s third baseman.
If reports emerge that Chicago is planning to deal with first baseman Anthony Rizzo, protests may take place outside the stadium until the start of the season. With the role of Cubs GM still vacant, fans are hoping someone will be hired soon so they can start making sense of everyone.
Until that happens, all of the heat will continue on in the direction of Baseball Operations President Jed Hoyer, who is losing support in seconds in the Windy City. If Contreras ends up going you can bet thousands of people will be angry, Briggs will no doubt be on the list.
