Samsung recently announced that its flagship, the Galaxy S21 Ultra, will receive one of its best features – the use of a pen. Galaxy fans were delighted with the thought of using the S-Pen in a number of different ways, and it doesn’t disappoint. Here are some of our favorite ways to use the two together.

Of course, one of the main reasons to use a pen is to draw. In Live Messages, you can draw your own emojis and messages on photos and send them to your friends. The AR Doodle, with which you can draw in 3D space, is even cooler. The Smart Select feature allows you to quickly click and collect images or videos.

When you move the pen across the screen and press the pen button, you can bring up a whole new menu of options and shortcuts. So get into the habit of using these until they become second nature. Samsung has also announced the launch of the S-Pen Pro, which is still largely under wraps but supposedly features air gestures and a remote shutter release. More will follow shortly.
