Alphabet (Brille) – Alphabet’s Google entity will cut commissions it collects for selling third-party software in its Cloud Marketplace. So says a person familiar with the matter who spoke to CNBC, who said that Google will now only collect 3% of sales compared to the previous 20%.

Tesla (TSLA) – Tesla has released a software update that allows customers to request access to its beta software for full self-driving. Access is granted to Tesla drivers who achieve a sufficiently high safety rating.

Gores Guggenheim (GGPI) – The special purpose vehicle will bring electric car maker Polestar public through a merger valued at $ 20 billion, including debt. Polestar is controlled by automaker Volvo and its parent company Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. Gores gained 2.4% in pre-trading.

Acceleron Pharma (XLRN) – Acceleron is in talks to acquire it by an unidentified large pharmaceutical company for about $ 180 a share, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke to Bloomberg. Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY) is considered a potential candidate as it already owns 11.5% of the shares in Acceleron.

Box (BOX) – Box was upgraded from “Market Perform” to “Market Outperform” at JMP Securities, including the execution of the cloud computing company. Box gained 2.2% in the premarket.

Altice USA (ATUS) – The broadband and video company has been downgraded from “outperform” to “neutral” by Credit Suisse, identifying the likely short-term negative effects of an aggressive fiber expansion strategy. Altice USA lost 1.8% leading up to launch.

Toyota Motor (TM) – The automaker’s shares rose 1.3% in the premarket after the company completed a $ 25.8 million share buyback.

Best Buy (BBY) – The electronics retailer was named a “Top Idea” by Piper Sandler, who is excited about the upcoming rollout of Best Buy’s new “Best Buy Total Tech” membership program.

Gannett (GCI) – USA Today publisher said it plans to refinance up to $ 550 million in senior secured debt. Gannett said his plan is subject to market conditions and there is no assurance that the refinancing will go ahead.
