Despite the uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic over the past year and a half, FairPrice has been the constant shoppers could count on.

This is thanks to the implementation of various initiatives that ensure the continuous availability and affordability of daily needs and protect and shield customers from price fluctuations.

And this would not have been possible without the commitment and support of its suppliers and partners, who have worked with the local supermarket chain to ensure good value for money with high quality goods at the same time.

That is why FairPrice will recognize its partners again this year at the annual FairPrice Partners Excellence Awards (FPEA).

The FPEA was launched in 2014 and aims to honor exemplary strategic partners who have continuously supported and participated in FairPrice’s product marketing and advertising initiatives.

NEW CATEGORIES

The theme this year is “Celebrating Resilience” – an apt summary of the shared experiences of FairPrice with its partners in meeting customer needs amid disruptions in the business landscape.

The virtual ceremony will take place on October 7th.

10 new categories will be added to this year’s FPEA.

One of the new categories is the Resilience Award, which recognizes suppliers who have responded and changed their business strategy while achieving exceptional sales results.

There’s also the Best Product Launch, which aims to praise the supplier who introduced or re-launched trending brands in this competitive landscape.

Because FairPrice is also encouraged to see more strategic partners advocating environmental sustainability through measures such as marketing campaigns or product development, the Best Sustainability Award was introduced to recognize efforts in this area.

The remaining new categories are Exemplary Performance Award, Key Account Manager Award, Best Brand Shopper Activation, Best Experiential Marketing, Best Content Marketing and Best Innovative Use of Shopper Media.

A total of 168 awards are given.

In addition, a unique new consumer component of the FPEA will be introduced this year with the People’s Choice Award.

With over 90 brand nominees and only 20 winners, the results are determined solely by customer votes.

Vote for your favorite brands in four categories from now until October 3rd at https://fairpricepartnersexcellenceawards.com/: Fresh, Frozen & Chilled, Grocery, Snacks & Beverages and Household Essentials.

Buyers who vote will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win FairPrice gift cards worth $ 180.

The winners will be announced on October 14th, one week after the FPEA ceremony.
